Welcome!

  1. Thank you for continuing this on. I was once a 'lover of', and have never been a 'hater of', never donated any money, but found the whole sh*t show a fascinating read. The main character, the 'go girls', the ones that get shat upon and still come back...I've tried to give it up, but it is just too fascinating.

    1. This is pretty much my experience too. I did buy a banjo because of her but I can't say that's a terrible thing.

  9. Thanks Doggy! Don't know if you saw my post over at the other blog, but you could put a stick announcement with a link to Julie's blog for historical/archive reading for folks who come here. I wonder if Julie could do the same, put a new announcement up and link to this blog as the new go-to?

  11. For anyone that is on social media as much as Miss Jenna is, there is no way in heck that she is only on her laptop. If so, she must be at her laptop like 24/7 because her tweets, FB post, Reddit posts, blog and all that is amazingly numerous. Add to it, WOW and all her binge watching... shesh, when does she have time to farm?????

    SMH... LOL.... such a poser...

    1. Apparantly she doesn,t want to farm..
She only wants to play and live of other peoples money..

    2. She is not always on a laptop. She still has a smart phone. She has never admitted not having one. What she has tried to make people believe is that she only uses it to listen to music or read books on it. Unfortunately with my own eyes at an event earlier this spring I saw her texting on her smart phone. Unless she was standing at the poultry swap playing "games" on her smart phone, which I think probably still requires a connection, she was texting. She also brings it into the local brewery and sits in the corner, away from other patrons, drinking and texting for hours. She may steal an internet connection from them, no clue? She has posted to Reddit while sitting at the brewery. Her claim of not having a smart phone is part of the role that she is portraying. With all the time she spends on the internet, would people really donate as much as they have if they thought she was on her smart phone all day playing? Many of her donors just don't want to admit to themselves, that she is indeed on the internet laptop or smart phone playing all day. She doesn't want to be perceived like everyone else, because she's a special snowflake, remember?

  12. There was a tragic accident in our area where a woman was left severely brain damaged. I contributed to her gofundme account to help with her ongoing care.

That is the type of donating I believe in. Not sending money to some lazy assed, well educated, able bodied woman to pay her mortgage because she would rather live like fiction than work.

    1. There are so many good causes. I cannot fathom giving money to JW. She doesn't have any "farm" posts anymore. I could have sworn she posted those farm hacks before. Why is she spending money on dry shampoo when you can stick your head under a faucet.
I almost wonder about the mental health of her doners more than her....almost.

    2. I so agree with you Anon 6:51. I would never even think of donating to Jenna to "live her dream" as some put it. That's for her to figure out. And in my opinion, it's a little insulting to JW to send donations as that's pretty much saying she's failed, she's incapable of fending for herself. There's so many people in legitimate need of help, I just can't understand what her fans are thinking. Let's worry about people without food before hipsters that spend more time exercising and watching TV than they do earning a buck for themselves.

    3. Couldn't have said it better myself Anon 6:51. Your statement, "lazy assed, well educated, able bodied woman to pay her mortgage because she would rather live like fiction that work" is bang on the money! This is after all, what JW really is. Not a dream, not an inspiration. Just a lazy person who wants others to fund her life for her.

  13. She said she watched 5-10 movies a week? I'm retired and even I don't have time to watch that much TV!

  14. Is there a way to organize this blog so that there is a post for Birchthorn, a post for logos, a post for begging, etc? And then people could comment in the appropriate post? I've noticed that lately (on the other blog) it's such a hodgepodge of comments that a newbie might want something more easy to reference. Just a thought. I'll support this blog regardless!

    1. A pinned post strictly for scamming testimonials would be one way to do it, too. That way the most important information would be front and center with no chit chat to wade through.

Can you be Heathen while practicing other Reconstructionist religions? by littlegoosegirl in asatru

When you read about wolves are you like "Ack! Scourge of my people!" or "Aw, Mom!?"

    1. From my own studies in heathen religions, I learned that my word was an oath not to break. In fact, following through, doing what you say, and paying your bills are just as sacred as seeing a wold as your kin and pouring liquor on the ground in offering. I don't get the pick and choose of beliefs in any religious endeavor. You shouldn't just have all the fun stuff without the not so fun.

    2. That should have been wolf, not wold.

    1. Is there anything I can do to make it more visible? Do I need a post that has key words to be searched?

    2. Doggy -- I'd didn't have any trouble find you but I typed in the title of the blog.

A few things I would do to help the Internet search:

I'd put a sub title at the top that says something like " the continuing sham of cold antler farm"

In every post, title and/or text try to include cold antler farm spelled out, and key words like begging, scam, fraud, descriptive words. We're so use to using CAF that the search engines are not making the connection.

People can also bookmark this page to find it easier.

As the blog builds content it will appear higher when searched. Thsts why it would have been better to take over Julie's blog. But, maybe she did like that idea.

You're starting from scratch and it will take some time.

    3. I made an About page that has key words. There are a lot of us here...in two days there have been more than 1700 page views....so some people are finding it. :-)

    4. Give it a little time, too... it can take even Google up to 90 days to completely include and index a new site. So the more posts and such, will help, but time will also help. :-)

  20. Hits & searches matter. Google Cold Antler or Cold Antler Sham then scroll down until you see this new site on the search results list, then click from there. The more clicks this site gets through that method, the higher it shows up on the list of search results, and the more people will see it when randomly searching CAF.

  21. I am a graphic designer as well. There is NO WAY that a logo takes 6 months to complete. I wouldn't have a business if I told clients that it takes that long. It may take 6 hours with the back and forth, etc.
