For anyone new to the site:

Many of us read the Cold Antler Farm blog via an app such as RSS feed. We do this because reading the blog via RSS does not count as a page view.
As many of you know, advertisers pay bloggers according to the number of page views. We refuse to contribute monetarily any further to Jenna Woginrich.

We continue to read CAF to keep abreast of Jenna Woginrich's scams and to warn others via this site as needed.

Please consider downloading an app such as RSS feed to read the Cold Antler Farm blog.

(Had to post this as a reply, it kept disappearing as a new comment)

Didn't she just tweet on Halloween that dogs don't like costumes? But they like to wear jewelry and sunglasses?

    1. It received one like.
Jenna, for someone who cares so much about what others think and spends so much time finding ways to say "LOOK AT ME," you certainly don't get the hints that people find you irritating and humorless.
Was that supposed to be cool? One like says it's not at all.

  3. She put her hammer pendant on her dog? Just wrong... if it has any meaning it belongs on a person who can appreciate the meaning. SMH

  4. I would also like to see a cookbook called "ColdAntler Feasts." I wonder how many pages it would contain? Perhaps another GoFundMe could be started.

  5. Her twitter is about on par for an average user. Mostly inane commentary, attempting to connect with celebs (via their poor assistants), and a fair amount of screaming into the void. Normal stuff, really. However, with a book outstanding (by, what, 3 years now?), I'm assuming some level of commissioned creative work, and animals to take care of, she sure does spend an awful lot of time on the platform. Especially for someone that claims to not be in possession of a smartphone. Easier to pause for a moment mid-task to send a tweet with a phone than to continuously go to the computer to do the same. But, as we have pretty well determined, she's a giant liar or at the very least a master of misrepresentation. Definitely a sad example of a human, though. Smh. I cannot believe I ever helped support her.

    1. She has a new, cheap kindle that can act as a cell phone when she can locate free wifi.

      Delete
    2. I had forgotten about the kindle. But, even the smallest one isn't exactly easy to carry around in a pocket, is it? I honestly don't know.

      Delete
    3. She posted a pic on Twitter of what she was reading on her Kindle (over the summer). It looked like the farm in the background. Jenna has to have wifi if that is the case. Add that to her list of lies.

      Delete
    4. Actually, you only need wifi to download/purchase books on a Kindle. Once you have the book, you can read it anywhere.

  6. She has a camera. She has a computer. If she was doing all the things she claims- fiddle lessons, soap workshops, cooking, etc etc...she would be documenting it.

Her posts are so boring because she doesn't post her own photos.

My motto is, pics or it didn't happen! Then you see how much of her life is pure fiction.

    1. Her videos, such as they were in last few years - face inches from propped up laptop, Lucas wandering by - have also gone by the wayside.

Nothing to discuss, nothing to display, nothing to share, no skill to demonstrate (last one I recall was "how to bake a squash" - involving cutting it in half, removing seeds, laying in oven. No new cosmetics or personal hygiene tricks of the busy gal farmer to pass along. Darn.

End of story at CAF. Ain't nothin' happening here..that I care to be botherin' to share (start of lyrics to life on the farm). Never was there a less busy, no projects "farm". I guess the always needed " " confirm that.

There are lots of animals wandering about but she's too lazy and disconnected from the whole CAF thing to bother. Why should she? She gets money by just...oh, being Jenna bad-ass I guess.

    2. Ever since she claimed to make the heirloom tomato sauce and didn't post any pictures, I knew she was making these cooking episodes up.
I immediately thought could she really be that crazy to do that? Then I remembered she sent herself a job application in the mail and then blogged about it being from a "hater." She claimed not to know how a postmark worked.
The thing about liars is that they are basically saying I am smarter than you. I think you are stupid enough to fall for this lie hook, line and sinker.
Consider that, Jenna fans. Jenna Woginrich has made a life from deception. She mistakenly still believes that she is the smartest person in the room.

"I really want to see #trollsmovie but can't find a last-minute date. How weird would it look being 34 & alone at a kids movie?"

Jenna, you apparently have $40 to waste on a movie yet you want people to believe that you can't afford more hay or more firewood.

  9. I was just reading about personality traits can be revealed when posting selfies to social media and this is a small clip from a Psychology Today article.

"They also examined different facets of narcissism. Narcissism is not just a single trait, but a confluence of several related qualities:

    Self-sufficiency—thinking you can do things on your own and don’t need other people;

    Vanity—concern about appearance and a tendency to admire your own physical appearance;

    Leadership—believing that you should have authority over other people, and being willing to exploit others if necessary;
    and
Admiration Demand—exhibitionism, feeling entitled to special status or privileges, and feeling superior to others."

  14. Didn't I see a post about how her hawk ate a flying squirrel? Unless she is hunting at night ( which hawks do not do) that is impossible because flying squirrels are nocturnal. I think the post has been deleted. Just another lie because now the hawk's first kill was a mouse. Funny how the story changed.

  17. It really burns me that this 30-something is out in the woods having fun with a luxury hobby. Here I am working six days a week. I don't have a hawk. I don't have a luxury hobby at all. I pay my bills and there she is....

    2. I hear ya Aonon 8:01. I have lived my whole life doing the right thing, being upstanding, responsible and financially prudent while others spend more, have more toys and play a hell of a lot more than I do. I feel like I have been shit on while others get a pass for their irresponsible behavior.

But, at 50+ I can tell you I have a way better life than all those others, Jenna included. I have lived, traveled, experienced different cultures and hobbies with no wolves at the door, scary trucks driving by or lack of needs. My bills are paid on time and I have no fear of losing anything.

Stay strong, you are on the right path and will have a life much better than JW even if you never trap a hawk.

      Delete
    3. Jenna's entire life is smoke and mirrors and begging. She doesn't know when her next donation will arrive and lives in constant fear of bill collectors. Thanks to disasters like Birchthorn and the fact that her writing has went way downhill, publishers won't touch her with a ten foot pole. Her scamming and other misdeeds have come back to bite her in the ass in a big way. In a nutshell- she has mismanaged her life.
She likely will never find a life mate because of her antisocial behaviors. She is a 30+ year old woman who hit her peak years ago and has been steadily going downhill since.
Jenna's life is definitely not a life to envy. It's the sort of life you look at and thank God it's not yours.

      Delete
    4. I second what you wrote. Her life is a cautionary tale of self-entitlement and money mooching, too. She'll be middle-aged, before you know it, and probably will wind up hoarding animals.

      Delete
    5. I think she really is already leaning towards hoarding animals. Face it, she can't afford the ones she has. She has too many.

  18. You know, as a professional writer (yes, one who gets paid and published and everything), Jenna's unabashed, almost smug lack of proofreading drives me insane.

She's supposedly a writer. She's supposedly desperate for her next book deal. And yet...her most recent blog post was simply unacceptable. She waffled between past and present tense every few sentences and for such a short piece, her typos were out of control.

If I were a prospective publisher and happened to wander over to her blog to see what I might be dealing with, I would drop her like a hot potato. Her lack of even the most basic attention to detail should be a red flag to any serious writer/editor.

It would be like if you wanted to hire a tradesperson of some sort (drywall, painting, carpentry, etc) and was invited to their home only to discover sloppy workmanship. "Well, this is my house and I don't get paid to do a nice job on my own house," might be what they'd say in their defense. But would you really trust them, then, to treat someone else's house differently?

    I wouldn't.

There are a lot of reasons to not respect Jenna, and the fact that she bills herself as a writer and then gives absolutely no shits about the quality of the writing she's putting out there for thousands of people to read is just one of them. There's simply no excuse for it. Take ten minutes to proof your work before hitting the "post" button. If you have ten minutes to "interact" with celebrities via Twitter, you have ten minutes to edit for basic grammar and spelling.

  21. Whoa! Her latest piece is a masterpiece of narcissism. Turns out the election was all about her, who knew? Many people in this country woke up in terror this morning, Jenna's over here trying to grub a few bucks and some "attagirls!". Because owning a Fell pony and a few sheep is exactly on par with busting your ass as a public servant for over thirty years to narrowly miss achieving a real goal, becoming the first female president.

    Gross!!

    1. Again, she never gave credit to her many donors who gave... GAVE her money getting nothing in return. That is why she is "somehow" still there.

      Delete
    2. I think it's a little bit weird that anyone would wake up in terror because of an orange haired man. If we were educated about the constitution we would understand that it doesn't matter who gets elected. We have checks and balances, we can survive even a crazy President. I don't like it either, and I know there are a lot of people in the country calling for revolution and burning things down, but we don't need to do that. We have a good system if we would use it. We have good people. Even Jenna had a good idea about self-sufficiency and homesteading when she started out, but somewhere along the line she lost track of her real goals.

      Delete
    3. So true, Red Horse. There is virtually no education about how the govt works. Most young people I run into seem to think the Prez can do what he wants, which by the way, would be a dictatorship.

And. apparently, no one has ever told them that if you threaten to kill a President, even on social media, the FBI shows up at your door and hauls you off.

Sometimes I think some people are not bright enough to be allowed to vote.

      Delete
    4. I get where you're coming from too, redhorse and Jenna definitely doesn't have anything to worry about outside of a legitimate worry about a shrinking economy which WILL negatively impact her because people won't be able to give or at least give as much to her play fund.

That said there are some people: PoC (Latinxs in particular), Muslims, and LGBTQ+ individuals who woke with legitimate fear because this shows without a shadow of a doubt how much this country still hates them. Hate crimes and violence against them will only increase because Trump's election basically makes it ok to be only racist and bigoted.

      Delete
    5. I guess I'm an incurable optimist. The number of racists and haters hasn't changed. The laws against discrimination haven't changed. Most people won't tolerate hate crimes and violence. Undoubtedly, there were many people who are racists and have anger issues who were attracted to Trump. I don't understand it.

  23. Ah, c'mon now, this morning's post at CAF was quite honest, I thought. As a non-American (I live down under in the Southern Hemisphere), your election circus (and that is exactly what it looks like from the outside) has been quite the piece of theatre! A great many disaffected Americans have sent y'all a clear message and now come the consequences. I don't have any issue with Jenna (and her commenters) expressing their thoughts on this - the whole world is in for a very interesting four years.....

    ReplyDelete
  24. I have to admit that this mornings post was one of the most honest things Jenna has written in years.

But, if her selection was mainly motivated by Hilary's sex than what does that say? An election like this is based on more than the gender of the candidates.

If Jenna is looking for a strong female to look up to, might I suggest the first female campaign manager of a national election.

  25. Jenna and Trump have a lot in common. They are both narcissistic, attention seeking, tax dodging, little dictators.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Jenna's post boils down to her feelings of disappointment that her life choices weren't validated by the election. She's suffering from some serious privilege overload to signal boost that the day after a man who's been threatening marginalized communities for months has been elected to the highest office in the land. The KKK was marching in NC yesterday, but please, draw your attention to the comfortable white lady with an $8K pony that's grief stricken because people "do not want me on stage"????? Holy shit that's some next-level self-absorption.

"I am constantly told how selfish I am for doing any of this while not being someone's wife or mother."

By who? Pretty sure she's just pulling this out of her ass.

"Yes, there was community, friends, teachers and neighbors - but I became the woman I am today without spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, or family."

Lol, I'm sure her mother will be pleased to see Jenna's telling the world she has no family. Is anyone else confused by the contradiction-- "Yes, I had tons of people helping me but I did it by myself"?? So what if she's never had a boyfriend. Pursuing multiple hobbies and a life of leisure on your own isn't exactly a heroic achievement. Has she never met a single parent? She ought to walk in their shoes for a day, it might give her some needed perspective. And her insistence that she's done it alone doesn't jive with the fact that she has an adoring fan base of hundreds (?) of people who are rooting for her, many of whom back it up with actual $$$$.

Her narcissism knows no bounds, or decency apparently.

"I'm sad to say my respect for you as a human being is dwindling to nothing. I understand you are upset but you've been basically throwing a tantrum for the past 24 hours and you are a grown woman. You've already told me to basically shut my mouth because you do not welcome opinions different than yours. Its really sad. But this is exactly why this country cannot get it together. Donald Trump isn't allowed to offend anyone (not that I agree with anything he says because I don't) but you can sit here and make post after post about ignorant uncultured americans and blah blah blah. Sad to have to but i'm just going to unfriend. I know what I say will have absolutely zero impact on anything you do at all...but I really adored you until you started posting politics. You could have been civil. You've chosen not to. It's really sad."

  31. Another from her Facebook:

"I am really starting to get offended by all the hate you have been spewing, and I don't offend easily. I am not uneducated, I don't fear America becoming less Christian or less white. You are just buying into what the media is portraying. In fact I'm less white than you are. People have every right to vote for whoever they want to and have many reasons for doing so. If the democratic candidate was anyone other than Hillary, they probably would have won. Personally I would never vote for a candidate that is for Obamacare. I have worked many years as a registered nurse and have seen first hand the damage it has done to our health care system. I also own all of your books and have payed for a logo. You will not be getting any more of my money. Not because you voted for Hillary, some of my family voted for her, because you have no respect for others."

And note that woman said she paid for a logo, not that she received it, haha! Jenna has no business sense. My husband and I each own our own business and we have refrained from commenting on anything with the election, either way. You never know who is reading and what their opinions are. 4. Someone is sending money to help her buy the goat. If that trans person was a friend of mine, I would advise them to wait at a least a year to make a move. There won't be any changes in the anti-discrimination laws. They are as safe today as they were last week, and they will be as safe next year.

    5. If you're not part of the victimized groups, you don't get to decide whether or not those groups are allowed to be afraid.

      Delete
    6. That's very uncivil and inaccurate of you. I said advise, I didn't say anyone should decide anything for another person.

      Delete
    7. Well, redhorse. I'm entitled to my opinion and I think that it is very presumptuous of you to think you could give advice to someone who is part of a marginalized group that you are not part of.

    8. How do you know what I am? Presumptuous much? Everyone is entitled to an opinion, it's pretty funny that you want to silence others who don't agree with you. Yes, I would offer compassion and advice to that couple who think they have to uproot their lives and move to another country. I would try to calm their fears. I wouldn't buy their goat.

    9. Where oh where did I say ANYTHING about wanting to silence others??? Maybe you could offer compassion (I would hope everyone could), I just don't think (of course I don't know absolutely), that you could give meaningful advice. I too think that it's too soon to tell about what's going to happen. But I would never try to advise someone of what to do if I had NO experience living in their shoes.

I'm just agreeing to disagree with you here. There's probably no trans person, anyway, considering where the info came from.

    10. I don't know why you're here, but I thought that was why the blog was here. I will always believe it is wise to advise other people to not harm themselves. It doesn't matter who those people are or what their lifestyle is, and I think anyone in a small minority who is fearful would feel better if they heard reassurance from the majority community. Isn't that the whole point of why they want to leave? They feel they have no support?

    2. 1) she's not a farmer(!)
      2) she's white and has the associated privileges
      3) she's straight (as best I can tell given her past language) and has those associated privileges
      4) the likelihood of her actually doing anything to address the feelings of or help marginalized people is nearly nonexistent
      5) social media hand wringing helps nothing

There. A non comprehensive list of reasons her entry is irrelevant.

  41. Jenna Woginrich: And I'm already broke.

    Broke?

    She's got a hobby farm.
A pleasure pony that costs more than many people's vehicles.
An entertainment budget that provides for infinite amusement to occupy her every waking moment.
And the luxury to devote the entire month of September to trapping a useless bird.

    She's not broke.

    1. And she had to type "moreso," to be a Special Spelling Snowflake in her latest pathetic post. I also loathe her long, run-on sentences. She's only a writer in her own muddled mind.

Good ole Snowflake. Taking advantage of low income people yet again.

    1. That's a Jenna Fan in a nutshell. Somehow, Jenna's transgender friend, who now feels so unsafe they need to uproot their lives and move out the country, is not the one they feel needs a helping hand-- no, it's Jenna who needs a goat-- just like before the election. Wtf.

    2. I just heard that Trump has two gay people on his transition team. He may be not be respectful of women, but I don't think he's getting ready to do anything bad to the LGBT community. So, don't send Jenna any money for the goat, it's owners can stay.

    3. He also has at least 7 women, from what I can tell. Some names can go either way, so it could be more, I didn't research them.

    4. I'm just going to point out that being a part of a marginalized group doesn't mean you can't uphold oppression. It's actually quite common, think of all the women who want to punish other women for daring to get an abortion.

  43. Her FB followers count has gone down. It was 3071 for the longest time and people were just "following" her vs. adding as a friend. Now her FB friends list is at 3025 and "followers" is holding at 629. lol I've read a few posts from real homesteaders and farmers the last few days, but the reality is none of them have the time to write articles and continue to rant about the outcome of the election. JW has the luxury of sobbing day in and day out about it while at the same time hinting for donations. JW cares about herself plain and simple. It's all about her and $. She doesn't have a sympathetic bone in that narcissistic body.. People are finally catching on.

  45. Oh for heavens sake CAF is turning into a effin Underground Railroad now, lower the heathen banner and raise up the rainbow as long as the seniors in the trailer park pony up their Ensure nestegg for my new goat stud. This blog needs an enema - you all are a bunch of insane enablers propelling Gondwanaland forward on its mission of insanity. Hear me out Shamsters - if Jenna farts out another piece of her farming shitshow - you write up 127 responses per week on her SHIT. JW, I know you're here and i know you get your best ideas from this thinktank of cantankerous naysayers. Girl you rock, now everybody just calm the F down and leave the political BS out of here, Grumpy Trumpy is already screwing his supporters 72 hours after being elected just like every other politician, so stop shaking in your boots Dems and GOP stop acting like we need to defrost Eisenhower to be a good country. Good night
